One of the greatest outlooks of life is identifying who you are as a person is and what make a person unique. When you are responsible to learners, I believe you have to empower those learners to be teachers to each other while being the educator for all. In my opinion, teachers and educators have a different roles. The role of teacher can be anyone including a student helping another student while an educator not only teaches from a lesson, but also life. My name is Samuel Stewart and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have been in education for at least 15 years and athletic coach for the last 7 years. My interest in technology has been a source of comfort since high school. My favorite hobby is engaging in technology and sporting events. It is my belief technology will be a driving component in the future and it is vital to anyone in leadership to not only be aware of upcoming technology trends. One of the major trends I am interested is developing worth while training for teachers and being more efficient in my delivery to teachers. This course continues to give more options in creating presentations. It has been my pleasure to teach students as well as my peers since I was in the fourth grade. I knew at that moment, I wanted to be an educator. While I pursued other interests after graduating from college, the calling for instruction always stayed on my mind. I knew I would one day have a positive impact on future generations through teaching. It is my belief all students can learn and I look forward to the challenge every day.
